Quick Facts About Custom Fabric Backdrops
Why Choose a Custom Fabric Backdrop Over Vinyl?
A fabric backdrop (also known as a stretch cloth backdrop or media wall) is the modern standard for professional event displays. Unlike traditional vinyl backdrops that crease, reflect light glare, and feel heavy, high-quality backdrop fabric absorbs flash photography perfectly while providing a smooth, seam-free finish.
At THE RPS LLC, our in-house fabric backdrop printing setup in Dubai utilizes dye-sublimation technology. This process infuses high-definition color directly into the polyester fibers, rendering graphics wash-safe, scratch-proof, and ultra-vibrant.
Whether you need a portable zippered pillowcase backdrop for corporate travel or a giant stage background for a gala, using premium fabric as a backdrop guarantees an elegant appearance without unsightly wrinkles or lighting reflections.
Core Benefits of Our Custom Fabric Backdrops
Zero Glare Photography
Specialized matte cloth backdrop material absorbs flash photography and event lighting, eliminating hot spots in photos and video broadcasts.
Wrinkle-Resistant Tension Fit
Stretchy tension fabric pulls tight across frame borders to eliminate fold lines, creases, and sagging automatically.
Ultra Portable & Foldable
Unlike rigid panels or heavy PVC rolls, a giant 10-foot cloth backdrop folds down down into a lightweight carry bag for hassle-free travel.
Washable & Reusable
Dye-sublimated polyester fabric can be cold machine-washed and ironed, maintaining crisp colors for years of repeat use.
Fast Tool-Free Setup
Simple pillowcase designs slide over aluminum frames and zip closed at the bottom in under 5 minutes without technical assistance.
In-House Production Savings
Because we handle weaving, printing, and sewing under one roof in Dubai, you enjoy wholesale factory pricing and fast emergency delivery.

Frequently Asked Questions
Will camera flashes create glare on a fabric backdrop?
No. Unlike PVC vinyl backdrops, our custom fabric backdrops feature a matte polyester weave that completely absorbs light, preventing flash bounce and glare in professional photos and video recordings.
Can I wash and iron my cloth backdrop?
Yes. Because we use high-temperature dye-sublimation printing, the ink is embedded deep inside the fabric fibers. You can machine wash the backdrop on a cold cycle and iron it on low heat without damaging the print.
What is a tension fabric backdrop?
A tension fabric backdrop uses a stretchy polyester material that pulls tight across an aluminum frame. This tension naturally pulls out any wrinkles or creases, creating a smooth, flat surface for graphics.
Do you supply the stand frame with the fabric backdrop printing?
Yes. We offer complete packages including both the printed backdrop fabric and the lightweight aluminum frame, or we can print replacement graphics to fit your existing stand hardware.
How fast can I get custom fabric backdrop printing in Dubai?
Standard production takes 3 to 5 working days. For urgent exhibition or event needs, we offer express 24-48 hour rush printing services across Dubai and the UAE.
